Single feed for dogs and cats - calorie-free filler for the food bowl
Cellulose is a fiber found in plant cells and belongs to the category of dietary fiber (crude fiber). For carnivores, it is indigestible and has no nutritional value (zero calories). However, dietary fibers are of great importance for regulated intestinal peristalsis.
Feed cellulose is added to the food ration as a single feed and serves as a fiber supplement. Our feed cellulose is produced from the wood of deciduous trees (beech). It is purely plant-based, contains no flavorings or preservatives, and is completely tasteless. Experience shows that it is very well accepted.
Feed cellulose should only be used temporarily in dogs and cats to promote satiety during weight reduction. Simultaneously, the intestines should be supported, and sufficient nutrients must remain available.
Digestion
By increasing the volume of the food pulp, feed cellulose can support intestinal activity. It has the ability to bind excess water in the intestine. In the case of soft stools, this has the effect of helping to restore firmness.
Overweight
Since our feed cellulose contains no nutrients, you should primarily ensure that your pet's daily requirement for main nutrients, vitamins, and minerals continues to be met.
Feed Intolerance
If your pet needs to follow a special diet, our feed cellulose can provide the necessary dietary fiber.
